I'm guessing because the politics section is full of narrow-minded Christians.

You know we're the minority
We can't do anything harmful that big
But if really we did it, and we can affect all other 80% of the world and they can't do nothing but look, perhaps they should think again about their true power
Well, about the ppl you've mentioned, they're just big weenies that can't get rid of their bad habit since childhood to point their fingers everyone but themselves for unpleasant things. They can't never man-up and say "Let's fix it", they just sit there, whine, and they just wanna know is there anyone they can blame on (gays, atheists, muslims...), that's it!
Those ppl need to grow up so badly

If it's any consolation, you can all blame me for those national problems. I did it. It was me. I confess. I ****** everything up. In between my stint at KFC and my 2 years at Krispy Kreme, I had a couple months off and I screwed up EVERYTHING. That comet that was going to miss the Earth ? I rigged that to hit us. Sorry but I was bored. Global warming ? Me. The upcoming nuclear war between Venezuela and Canada ? Me. The busload of nurses that will be shot up by a disgruntled shoe salesman this Thursday ? Me. The upcoming full length Power Rangers movie ? Me. Hey, it pays to keep me gainfully employed. Next time you'll know better.

all of it comes all the way down to the expectancy of perfection. Christians are not any more suitable effective than Atheist. We make blunders. If we were perfect distinct human beings might want to genuinely convert to change into perfect to. Perfection is fathom in the international. the ingredient is human beings get overly keen about spreading Christianity and bypass overboard. They form/ say regardless of pops into their head instead of asking The Holy Spirit for training on what to assert. You adult men can debate with us all you want and vice-versa. that is an countless conflict till Jesus returns or till we attain heaven. Our movements might want to reveal Christ, not inevitably our words. desire this help, And my apolpgies for previous, recent, and destiny ignorant performing Christians, Cora

I thi believe watching religulous should be mandatory for everyone. I'm a skeptic that used to be deeply involved. Religulous has amazing points and excellent interviews involving crazies of every religion. After watching this, atheists are not to blame, its the crazy hypocritical christians and their "we shalt not judge" selves. The whole thing makes me sick

Because the simple-minded require simple answers that put blame on a group they don't like. It's easier than trying to understand complex problems and it's more comfortable than looking at how one's own group might have contributed to those problems.

I wouldn't blame atheists for anything - after all, they are only 5 percent of the voting populous in America...
If Christians want to blame ANYONE for the downturn of America, it should be THEMSELVES as 70-80 percent of the population... Christians aren't forward enough, nor are they willing to stand up for what they believe.

I don't frequent the politics section, so I wouldn't know. Religion is so much more interesting.

Because they can't face the reality that right-wing Christian war mongers put us here. Hitler blamed the Jews and Christians blame the atheists -- they are weak and unorganized.

In Politics everyone blames everyone but themselves.
