What does it mean to be "stone"?

I was reading a list of things not to ask a transgender man (transman, female-to-male transsexual) and one of the questions was "Are you stone?"

What does that mean, and why would it be bad to ask that?

It refers to a butch lesbian,(stone butch) who is unwilling to be sexually touched by her partner and sometimes even completely undressed in front of them but will perform acts on her partner. I haven't heard of calling a trans man that though, which would porbably because it is a word for a lesbian woman, not a man, which would be offensive because using a word for a lesbian to describe a guy is like invalidating his gender.

Stone is a term I've only heard associated with lesbians (ie: stone butch). It generally refers to a butch lesbian who is uncomfortable with being touched sexually/undressed (usually due to personal issues with her body/gender).

You could ask that question to a trans person, probably in reference to whether or not they're comfortable with being touched due to their discomfort with their biological sex (even post-op, some trans people could still be uncomfortable). But asking a transguy this question implies that he's a lesbian, when in reality he probably identifies as a straight man (assuming he lives as a male and only dates females).
