How can I find this inverse? Please help.?

Can you help me find the inverse of f(x)=x^3-8?

Update:

How did you get rid of the exponent on x^3 and get a (1/3) on the right side of the equation?

Thanks.=)

    y = x^3 - 8

    x^3 = y + 8

    x = (y+8)^(1/3)

    (x+8)^(1/3) <=== inverse of x^3 - 8

    y = (x+8)^(1/3)

    x = y^3 - 8

    f-1(x) = y = (x + 8)^(1/3)
