What is your opinion of Oprah Winfrey?

I think she is ok at what she does, however she does nothing that any other talk show host doesnt do.. she has a very swelled ego and self important view of herself, and the media allows her to do whatever she wants, whenever she wants to do it,, which again, makes her feel very important...

there are plenty of talk shows out there, some good, some bad, Oprah does what all others do, she interviews celebs and talks about important issues.. she shouldnt be revered as a god like person...

I live in Chicago, I have been around her since the mid 80's when she took over a show called AM Chicago which always had two hosts.. she comes on and its her show , and the start of her enormous ego, the co-host is gone, the show is re-named Oprah Winfrey with in a year or so..

like I say, she is OK, I like her, but she is doing a job that many others do and have done for years..

she is better than a " Maury or a Jerry Springer,, but as good as a Donahue or Sally Jessy Rapheal.. nobody thinks Sally Jessy or Ricki Lake walk on water...

She seems to be personally nice but has far too much influence. I think a lot of lonely people relate to her as the "girlfriend" they don't really have thereby giving her tremendous power through TV ratings.

I also think that her huge fame is a burden to her, she seems to be a fairly ordinary sort of person who cannot visit a country like Australia without her every step covered on the evening news, she probably owes her own mental health to her real girlfriends such as Gail.

She has more money than she knows what to do with! Oprah is hot enogh to roll with me and pikachu!

i think of she could desire to take the credit for influencing an outstanding form of human beings to vote for Obama, yet frankly i think of it became McCain's snub on Letterman that did the trick for the Prez...

She is a savvy business women

She does good with her money and fame, more people should do the same

she alright. she have some good shows sometimes, sometimes not. she tries to help people more than these other coke snorter celebs.

I don't understand why she's got such a following.

she should give me 1million dollars. just a million, im not asking for much!
