Would it be harder for a dog to chew through poly pipe or a garden hose?
I have a puppy that likes to chew through electrical cords so I need something to cover them until he learns not to. I've already tried vinyl tubing and that didn't even slow him down. If you have any other ideas, please share!
I've tried Yuck and bitter apple and he didn't even seem to notice! I'll try the pepper stuff if I can find it, but in the meantime I need something that will absolutely work.

I believe he would go right through the garden hose but the poly pipe should stop him very well.

I've never seen a dog attracted to poly pipe because of its slippery surface and the
the chemical make up dogs can smell.
Keep your garden hose rolled up. If you buy a good, reinforced hose, it would take a
lot of chewing to pierce it. Anytime your not using your hose, roll it on a dispenser.
Also the chemical make up of hoses aren't very appealing to Dogs.
Keep plenty of rawhide chew items around. You can buy chewable items that attract
dogs by scent.

They make bitter pepper spray that you can put on things to discourage chewing. They won't chew it because it tastes and smells bad. It also comes in bitter apple. Talk to your vet he can find you some.
