can i watch subtitled movies in my ps3?
i want to know if there's a way to watch subtitled movies in my ps3 without having to burn a movie to CD,
i save the avi file in my USB memory, put the subtitles next to the avi file. both with the same name, and it never reads subtitles even if its a Divx movie.
is there a way to do it?

No, I don't think you can watch PIRATED movies with subtitles on your PS3. You can't do the same thing as on the computer. I would try finding one that is subtitled in the movie file.
Because I think on the computer XVID does the subtitling for you.

If a normal Dvd or blu ray you press the start button and a menu pops up witch should over you the chance to have subtitles

Depends on where the movie is from. 90% of all Blu-Ray movies are unlocked and will work on any Blu-Ray player in the world. Blu-Ray uses a different region code then DVD. The US and Japan are in the same region so all Japanese Blu-Rays work on US players.
