POLL: Who has to work on Christmas Day?
I work in retail and luckily I got Christmas off this year. Does anyone else have to work it? If you have too, did you volunteer, or did you get stuck with it? Just curious...
BQ: If you have to work on Christmas, what profession are you in? You don't have to name companies, just the type of job, like I work in retail.

I don't, but my husband does IT support for Apple and his company is having everyone work the 24th-26th... "all hands on deck" they call it. Part of me understands that a lot of people will be opening Apple brand gifts Christmas morning that they don't know how to use, but when I realize I don't get to travel a few hours to see our families because he'll be at work all day, it frustrates me to think that people would be so selfish to call support on Christmas day, knowing that's (long-term) causing people to have to work that day. Oh, well, I'll get so spend Christmas morning and evening with my husband and our pups, which we be great as our first Christmas as a married couple.
