Can I look up a marriage record online?

I need to look up a marriage record for a marriage that took place in Oklahoma. Every single website I find requires me to PAY to look. I thought marriage certificates were public records. ????????

    So far, very few clerks offer free online documents. I work for one who does.

    Marriage records are public records, but most public records are not published online yet. It is VERY expensive to do so, compared to microfilming.

    I dont have an answer for you, yet this caught my eye reason i replaced into only attempting the comparable component final night. i assumed they have been public too, i think of you will locate loose data on the library or courthouse. i think of you will locate marriage data there.
