HELP! Weird taskbar icon won't go away!?
So I've had this strange taskbar icon appear every time i start up my computer and i'm not sure where it's from. If i click on it, nothing happens, but if i wave my mouse over it, it shows the picture of some kind of generic .exe file.
I've tried a system restore but unfortunately, i only have the past 5 days saved on my restore registry and this problem began about a month ago.
Do you know what this icon belongs to and how i can get rid of it?

Thanks for your comments! I have Microsoft Security Essentials running as well as CA Anti-virus (from Time Warner Cable) but none of them found the culprit... Any further advice?

Scan your PC with a good antivirus like Avast or Microsoft Security Essentials

Download and install a legitimate anti-spyware software. Choose from malwarebytes antimalware or superantispyware. Download links http://www.pcrisk.com/top-spyware-removers Both are free and does a great job at detecting and removing spyware. Download, install and update before running a full system scan. You may also want to enter safe mode before running a scan. Click Start, click Shut down, click Restart, click Ok. During your computer starting process press F8 key on your keyboard multiple times until you see Windows Advanced Option menu, then select Safe mode from the list. Then run a scan.
If these programs doesn't find any infections also try Hitman Pro. http://www.surfright.nl/en/products/ Sometimes this program is able to detect infections that other scanner misses.

without beginning any window, good click with your mouse on your very own pc and choose 'residences'. interior the 'reveal residences' window elect 'visual charm' right here you could restore your fonts, window length and icons to primary. purely be careful with the sport you have downloaded as i'm tremendously particular it has some thing to do with the variations.
