record video to dvd, first you must have a right dvd burner drive(hardware device) on your computer, most dvd burner drives have a text "DVD RW" on drive panel, you should check your computer to validate there is a right dvd burner drive(hardware device), then you can use a right burning software to help you burn/record the video to a dvd.
If you just want to burn/record the video to a dvd as a data dvd, you can use RZ Free DVD Burner, its free and easy to use, it can directly burn any files or folders to any dvd disc as data dvd, such as directly burn/record your video to a dvd as a data dvd, and you can open the burned data dvd on any computer, but can't play data dvd on regular dvd players.
So if you want to play the burned dvd well on regular dvd players, you need to use a right software to convert the video to video dvd format then burn to a dvd, because regular dvd players only recognize video dvd format well, I used RZ DVD Creator to do that well, it can convert any videos to video dvd format and burn to any dvd disc(DVD+R, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R DL, etc), easy to use, insert a dvd disc into your computer dvd burner drive, run RZ DVD Creator, select the dvd burner drive as the target folder, drag and drop the video into the software, then press the START button, you will get a right video dvd, and you can play the burned video dvd well on any dvd players.
You can yahoo or google search and download RZ Free DVD Burner or RZ DVD Creator, both easy to use, hope them can help you.
