Why doesnt it hurt after weight training anymore?

Ive been lifting for about over a year now and ive noticed that after my sessions my muscles no longer hurt like they did as when i began. I've been seeing noticeable improvements in my muscular growth and so on, but i want to know why it doesn't hurt like it used to. yes i change my routine weekly focusing on upper chest biceps and triceps in different reps and sets. anyone else have this problem?

Update:

i also change my weight classes from dumbell weights varying from 50-60s

The only time you get muscle soreness is when you tear your muscles and let them repair. You probably would have felt this for a while once you started. Seeing that you've been training for so long though, the muscle damage/growth is nowhere near as severe as it was when you first started, and you may just be maintaining muscle now.

If you try different exercises, with weight that you can only just manage, focusing on the same areas and maybe trying drop sets you may feel a bit of muscle soreness.

“Over a year?” You should be in shape by now and only need to maintain your muscle mass (use or lose it) but not have to build more…which is when you get soreness.
