Why Doesn't Our Internet Work?

We have tried everything talked to people on the phone for 4 hours tried for two weeks and every day of it and it still says "internet explorer cannot Display the webpage"?!

Update:

We have ran virus scans unplugged the router and motom allowed proxy and all kinds of stuff but nothing :(

We have a desktop computer that internet work perfectly on bu the laptop doesnt

    you need to break down the problem. Is it the Internet or your computer? if you have a laptop, try it at McDonalds or the library. If you have a desktop, the tech support people can tell you if the router in your house is working or not. If you are using wireless, make sure you have your laptop configured correctly. The Intennet connection should be set for DHCP and all the settings blank. Same with the DNS. Then you need to make sure your getting signal and have the router security code in the laptop.

    Since you didn't say "wired or wireless", I can't tell what you may be having a problem with. Try plugging in with a ethernet cord right to the Internet providers modem and then try it. if that works, you can figure out what you have to troubelshoot.

    try downloading it again, as it sounds to me as if you have deleted something that belongs to it
