Who wants to know why the Jets offense is so awful?

The answer is Brian Schottenheimer. I could write an essay on all the things he does wrong, but here's the bottom line.

In the 77 games Schotty has been their offensive coordinator, the FOUR different QBs who have started under him have thrown 82 touchdowns against 90 picks in 77 games.

Agreed!!! Schottenheimer has got to be the most overrated 'O' coordinator i have seen since watching the Jets... I will even give Sanchez another year or two, just as soon as the Jets get a new 'O' coordinator... That offense looks totally confused, and lost!!! Schott is SHOT OUT!!!! Your not fooling anybody with the wildcat!!! Especially when you try to run it 3 time in succession for 3 and out! I would suggest to try a simpler approach!

He's living off his father's legacy, being so prematurely entrusted to a high CS position(sorta like Lane Kiffin).. That Pats game started off so lopsided the Jets couldn't utilize it's effective run game to keep Brady sidelined and take advantage of a weak defensive line, instead they buried themselves in the hole early by running a no huddle and trying to use the same bootleg schemes they used against them in week 2. You don't use the same trick twice, especially when it's been 12 WEEKS since the last time you played them.. Also, you don't have to be a pass first team to be successful(look at JAX), Sanchez had 27 incompletions because they gave up on Tomlinson to force throws downfield(something they're obviously incapable of). Imagine what the offense will look like once Holmes and Edwards go.

You also forgot to mention that the Jets' offensive line couldn't stop a group of cheerleaders and that Mark Sanchez is one of the clumsiest QBs in the league.

I would like to know exactly what he does wrong, if you don't mind
