Unexplained scratching and bruising?
I live in a typical college dorm with a friend as a roommate. My roommate had been complaining of seeing and hearing things in the night while I was asleep as she goes to bed much later than me. I never really thought much of it until now. One particular night she was out, at a place about 2 hours away, I heard my dorm door open, my roommate and a guy walk in, and I remember hearing my roommate (her voice in particular, the guys voice I didn't recognize) I heard her walk over near my bed, heard her say things about me, I dont remember exactly what she said, but I remember her running her fingers along my palm. I sat up, turn towards the wall, and fell right back asleep. In the morning I looked over at her bed and she wasnt there. I called and asked her if at any time she came home that night, and she said no, that she was about 2 hours from here.
A few days ago, I awoke to a massive welt on my left thigh. There was nothing in my bed I could have hit it off of or any way I remember being injured in that area recently. I took it fairly lightly. But tonight, my roommate went to the library for about 2 hours. I texted her telling her I was going to bed around 11 pm. Around midnight, I heard her open the door, say some things to me, and close the door, so I woke up and mentioned that my back felt like it was burning. I asked her to look at it and there are four, three/four inch long scratches, one of which is bleeding, on my upper back.
Now, we've tried to go through all of the possibilities, because I'm a scientifically-rooted person. There is nothing in or around my bed I could've scratched my back on, I couldnt have done it myself, I had been sleeping on my stomach.
I do have a history of sensitive skin and rashes and such, but I've been to a dermatologist before because I have a severe nickel allergy, but nothing like this ever before. This is not an outbreak.
I'll be leaving the dorm on Tuesday for a month long break for Christmas, so I'm hoping if I go away for a while and come back things will calm down some. But I just dont know.
I just want to know if anyone has had any experience with this or anything the can give me as advice.
I HAVE had a history of depression and mental illness, including self-harm for many years. But I'm currently on medication and stable, and have been for almost a year. I dont believe these things are side-effects of the medications I'm currently on or anything like that. I've never messed around with the paranormal, formally or informally. My house back at home is haunted, but nothing like this, and the activity has calmed down tremendously since we've lived there for a while now.
I have a neighbor who is a senior here and is asking the people she knows that lived here if anything at all happened to them while they've stayed here or in this room in particular.

I see one of two possibilities.
1) The dorm is haunted. If it is haunted maybe others know about it. Ask the RA or others in the dorm. Maybe someone knows something.
2) If all the activity is around you then I would be very concerned. The other possibility is that you are a haunted person. People can become haunted just as land, buildings and even objects. There is two kinds of haunted people. a) demonic possession and b) Demonic oppression. I know a young lady who also had scratches and she even sent me pics of them. She also had bruising and a bite mark that did not look human. She was demonically possessed.
I realize that most people think demons don't exist or that they are very rare. I was possessed and had them removed from me and now I am helping those with demonic issues. See if you have some things in common with the list below.
1) Abusive childhood.
2) Issues with depression or anxiety
3) Suicidal thoughts.
4) Self harm ( cutting, burning, hair pulling, hitting or biting ones self.)
5) Victim of sexual abuse.
6) Seeing ghosts
7) Possess spiritual abilities. ( psychic, telekinetic, etc)
8) Frequent Nightmares
9) Sudden shift in emotions ( explosive anger that comes out of no where, tears for no reason, etc)
10) occult or paranormal proclivities.
If you have a few things in common with this list, then you may have a demonic issue.

Try changing dorm rooms and room mates before blaming any type paranormal activity. It sounds like somebody is trying to mess with your head, these are college kids, how well do you really know any of them. People are capable of anything. Thats the most down to earth answer I can give you right out of the box. If you move and the problems persist then start calling the ghostbusters and psychics. Trust your gut insticts, if you saw your room mate in the room but she denied it later that doesn't necessarily mean she or another woman (perhaps a friend of hers) weren't in there with a man who could have done this to you. If you don't want to change dorm rooms try setting up a hidden camera, they are cheap and easy to set up and this would put to rest any doubt whether or not somebody is entering your room and pulling shenanigans.

You should contact your nearest paranormal society. I only know of two; TAPS in Rhode Island, and PRS in Pennsylvania. Even if you'd rather not have an investigation, I'm sure they'll have advice for you, and will be able to answer some of your questions.
Here's the link to the TAPS website: http://www.the-atlantic-paranormal-society.com/
And the PRS website: http://www.paranormalresearchsociety.org/index.php
Both websites have contact information, and information about different kinds of paranormal hauntings.
Good luck, and try not to let these things bring you down!
