  • Deodorant and shaving?

Lately I've been having this weird issue with my deodorant. I've just been using a Sauve brand one, however, when I showered later in the day, and shave, I literally shave off the deodorant, and it gets all clogged up in my razor! When I apply at the beginning of my day, I don't use an absurd amount, or reapply more than once, if at all, through out my day. So it's not like I'm piling it on or anything.

I've tried to scrub and scrub my armpits to get rid of the deodorant before I shave, but no matter how hard I try, it's still coming off on my razor, and clogging it up.

I've tried clear gel formula deodorants, but they don't seem to work as well, or last as long as powder/stick formula ones.

Would switching to a clinical strength variety help at all?

  • Inflammation in armpit?

This just started yesterday, with an annoying itch in my right armpit area. It's not exactly IN my armpit, but very close to the pit itself, right on the front side. I thought it was maybe just a bug bite, and was itchy, so I tried to ignore it for the rest of the night. When I got home, I applied some benedryl anti-itch stuff to it. However, when I looked in a mirror, I couldn't see any actual 'bite', but I figured it was just because I had been itching it and it was red.

This morning, it's been waking me up in the night with the itchiness. My armpit area is very sore and tender, and I have to sleep with a blanket between the area so the skin doesn't rub against it. It doesn't look swollen compared to the other side, but it's red and quite hard when I press on it. (The other side doesn't feel hard). There is no rash or breakout or anything like that. It's just red, painful, itchy and hard to the touch.

Anyone have any clues as to what this could be?

  • Revlon Just Bitten Lipstain, patchy?

Okay, so no matter what I do, cannot get Revlon's Just Bitten Lipstain to go on evenly! I've tried two different shades, and they go on fine when I first apply them, but when I look in the mirror an hour or so later, its patchy! Theres dark spots and spots that look like it's wiped off!

Does anyone have this problem or any tips?

  • How do I tell my boss I'm quitting?

Okay, so I might not exactly be quitting, but there's a chance of it.

Basically, I've been working at a drugstore for almost 2 years now. I'm only 19 years old, and I'm looking for something that I can enjoy and grow with more.

So, I applied at a local Sephora.

Now, I just applied, and I have not quit my current job. If I don't get the job or a call from Sephora, I'm going to stay at the drugstore.

But assuming I DO get a call from Sephora, how do I go about telling my current boss that I'm quitting? I hate disappointing people. I know it's going to be better for me in the long run working somewhere else that I'll enjoy a lot more, but I'm just afraid of them maybe getting upset and giving me a bad reputation or something?

Of course I feel that my chances of actually getting hired at Sephora may be slim, so there's a chance I might not even have to have this conversation with my boss yet.

But just a few tips would definitely help me in this situation.

  • Birth control, nausea, and early period?

First off, I have very safe sex, so the chances of me being pregnant are about 0.01%. I'm on the pill and take it exactly as directed and my partner and I also use condoms.

I've been on the same birth control for a little over a year now, and I've never, ever gotten my period on any day other than Sunday for a year or so. A few days before my expected period I had some discharge with some brown spotting, not even enough spotting to stain or anything, a very minimal amount. That's never happened to me before my period. However today I got my period a day early. Since its only a day early, I'm not really concerned, but since I always take the pill exactly as directed, with an alarm every day and everything, it was a little weird. Concerned I took a pregnancy test today (the day I started my period) just because I'm an extremely paranoid person, and it came up negative as expected.

I was having some cramping and nausea about two days before I got my period, I also have irritable bowel syndrome so I mostly chalked it up to that, took some miralax, and that problem was solved.

However today I was at work, and wasn't feeling so hot. I ended up getting ill and throwing up and got sent home. I hadn't had anything to drink all day except half a can of diet rootbeer, so I chalked that up to dehydration.

Now, I'm on my period, and have minor cramps, which is normal to me.

I guess I'm just concerned if all of these things in the past few days are all separated incidents, or if they could be related somehow? Any input helps. Thanks!

  • Fair pricing on Etsy.?

I make jewelry (mostly out of animal bones and such) and I'm trying to sell some of it on Etsy.

    http://www.etsy.com/shop/ToriBiohazard?ref=pr_shop...

I'm not really sure how to determine a fair price range, almost all of my pieces have a different price. I just try to take into consideration bone cleaning, materials, and the time it took for me to make it. I'm pressured by my family to raise prices, but honestly, I think its unreasonable to raise them! Please take a look and let me know what you think about them.

  • Do taxidermists give away bones?

I collect bones, and I use them to make jewelry out of, but I'm looking to diversify my collection. Do taxidermist usually give away or sell bones they don't need or want? I've heard that it depends on the shop/taxidermist, but I've never even been in a taxidermy shop, so I'm really not sure how they tend to work things.

  • Unexplained scratching and bruising?

I live in a typical college dorm with a friend as a roommate. My roommate had been complaining of seeing and hearing things in the night while I was asleep as she goes to bed much later than me. I never really thought much of it until now. One particular night she was out, at a place about 2 hours away, I heard my dorm door open, my roommate and a guy walk in, and I remember hearing my roommate (her voice in particular, the guys voice I didn't recognize) I heard her walk over near my bed, heard her say things about me, I dont remember exactly what she said, but I remember her running her fingers along my palm. I sat up, turn towards the wall, and fell right back asleep. In the morning I looked over at her bed and she wasnt there. I called and asked her if at any time she came home that night, and she said no, that she was about 2 hours from here.

A few days ago, I awoke to a massive welt on my left thigh. There was nothing in my bed I could have hit it off of or any way I remember being injured in that area recently. I took it fairly lightly. But tonight, my roommate went to the library for about 2 hours. I texted her telling her I was going to bed around 11 pm. Around midnight, I heard her open the door, say some things to me, and close the door, so I woke up and mentioned that my back felt like it was burning. I asked her to look at it and there are four, three/four inch long scratches, one of which is bleeding, on my upper back.

Now, we've tried to go through all of the possibilities, because I'm a scientifically-rooted person. There is nothing in or around my bed I could've scratched my back on, I couldnt have done it myself, I had been sleeping on my stomach.

I do have a history of sensitive skin and rashes and such, but I've been to a dermatologist before because I have a severe nickel allergy, but nothing like this ever before. This is not an outbreak.

I'll be leaving the dorm on Tuesday for a month long break for Christmas, so I'm hoping if I go away for a while and come back things will calm down some. But I just dont know.

I just want to know if anyone has had any experience with this or anything the can give me as advice.

  • Sex is almost impossible x.x?

Before I even start, I just want to point out that we're both 18, so no underage nonsense please. My boyfriend and I have been progressively getting closer as a couple, and have tried to have sex a few times, unfortunately, its just not working out. We're both virgins, so I realize that might affect it somehow. Some of the problem seems to be that the condoms he bought seem to be too small. It takes forever to get one on, it rides up, plus it seems to constrict bloodflow a bit making him not as hard as before he put on a condom. The first time we attempted wetness seemed to be a problem, but I was nervous, and so was he. Since then the condom deal has been the issue I think. I'm not sure if he realizes they're too small, but he hasn't gotten new ones yet, and I'm too embarrassed to bring up the subject of buying some personal lubricant to make it easier. Does anyone have any suggestions to make this whole process a little easier on the both of us?

  • Bump under left bottom eyelid.?

So, for the past few years I've had a little bump underneath my left bottom eyelid. My eye doctor told me it was just basically from wearing makeup and sleeping in it occasionally. It never really caused me any problems. But recently I've noticed its gotten bigger [almost double what it was before] and is kind of painful. It makes my left eye water [as least I suspect its from the bump] and itchy and burn. I wear contacts, and I also wear heavy eye makeup, but I'm always careful to take my eye makeup off and my contacts out before I go to sleep. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this?
