How to revive a swirly bamboo plant?
I've had a cute little swirly bamboo plant for almost a year now, its done will in my room in gravel with plenty of water, I recently transported it to my dorm room and almost immediately its turning yellow around the top and the top set of leaves is turning yellow and brown =[ I've still been giving it plenty of water and kept it in the same jar and gravel, So I don't know what to do! Anyone have any advice?

Why Are the Leaves Turning Yellow?
Two of the most common factors are 1.) too much direct sunlight; and 2.) too salty or heavily-fluoridated tap water. Give your new Lucky Bamboo a thriving start be sure to keep it away from direct sunlight, and water only with filtered or natural spring water.

It all depends on where the plant is standing. I have got mine for about 4 years now,in Tangier Morocco. It was first indoors, but turned yellowish and lost leaves,so i put it outside, still in a glass of water, and it is doing quite well, even in the winter. i also had one in the UK. It was doing very well upstairs in our bedroom on the windowsill with a lot of sunlight, but regrettably lost it by stupidly putting it on the windowsill in the bathroom. I thought that the humid conditions of the bathroom would benefit it,and how wrong i was..

that and maybe a little bit of milk here and there it nourishes the plant with vitamins much needed by this partical olant just do not forget to rinse all the milk out of the plant after a few hours if you don't the milk will eventually rot and smell really bad with maggots too.
