Dakotas Golf Tour experiences?

I would really like to hear from anyone with first or second hand info regarding the Dakotas Golf Tour. I've read the Policies and Procedures page, but just wanted to hear an experienced opinion. Thanks.

I played the Dakotas Tour in the mid to late 90's. I didn't know it was still going. It was pretty respectable and competitive back then. Back then the leading money winners would usually find success on the PGA Tour shortly after (Rich Beam, Joe Ogilvie, JP Hayes, Bo Van Pelt). Most of us from the Midwest would play the Dakotas in the summer, and then Hooters or Tear Drop or Golden Bear Tours in the winters. There are some good tours out west too, but I'm not familiar with them.

Source(s): We were all wight out of college golf and would sleep like 4 to a Red Roof Inn room (as cheap as we could) all summer in the Dakotas. Joe Ogilvie was one of our roomates and he was the leading money winner for 2 years, then he made it through Q-school.
