So Healthcare is a good thing...?

So much for the Gov't giving everyone health care...the medical cuts are on their way due to the HC Bill

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20101213/ap_on_he_me/us...

Update:

Did I really have to say Universal Healthcare after referencing the bill? And its not due to the new HC bill?

"Just when caseloads hit their highest point, the nation's new health care law required states not to change the rules on who's eligible for Medicaid. That means states can't roll up the welcome mat by tightening Medicaid's income requirements.

So states have resorted to a variety of painful options."

Update 2:

Mass. has universal health care for their state...and their almost bankrupt. Look at small scale studies, i.e Mass, before implementing large scale experiments

Not surprising. Arizona already had HC for all the poor. Just not the workers. It is a rip off like 0bama is.

Healthcare is a good thing, yes.

Expecting <1/2 of the people to pay for 1) their own and 2) everyone elses'

    INSANITY.

11 million seniors stand a good chance at losing their doctors due to "medicare advantage" programs dropping out -- they are not stupid, they can see the financial future probabilities and chances for any profit : 0. Why waste the paperwork, pensions, etc?

This is the setup for the 2012; in which all Republican Candidates will be held accountable along with the Blue Dog Democrats. All except of US Senator Blanch Lincoln of Arkansas, she's already gotten her walking paper.

Medicare in my country is a great thing, I had an accident, serious 2nd Degree burns to my forearm earlier this year, spent two nights in Hospital and had about a months worth of outpatient treatment and all up it cost me $19.30AU.

My Country never went into recession during the Global Financial Crisis, the economy slowed, sure but now it's booming again.

Socialised Medicine makes your workforce more productive.

Yeah, people like you complain until your insurance company drops you when YOU need it, then it's a different story. Unless you're wealthy and can afford your medical bills with no insurance, in that case, you probably don't pay your fair share of taxes either with all the loop holes you have to reduce your tax responsibility

Of course healthcare is a good thing. Otherwise, people wouldn't get treated.....I think you mean universal health care... Which seems to work fine for everyone else. Guess the US just can't handle taking care of their citizens. Or adopting the metric system....jeez.

Obama and Pelosi proudly cheer their horrible new law.

But the only way that the CBO calculates that the law will lower costs is when they assume that the federal government will have more power to deny coverage and underpay doctors in ways that insurance companies can never dream.

The healthcare bill wasn't the cause of this. Read your own article.
