Dwight Howard vs David Robinson?

NBA fans! What if Dwight Howard faced David Robinson in his prime, in a mano-a-mano pickup game?

Tale of the tape:

♦ Dwight Howard ~ 6' 11'', 265 lbs., Center

VS

♦ David Robinson ~ 7' 1'', 235 lbs., Center

Dwight is nearing his peak, at 25 yrs of age, while David is a Hall of Famer for sure, who dominated

the NBA during his own reign. Lately NBA fans marvel at Dwight's physique with his 'Superman' shoulders but if we all remember David had his trademark cannons of biceps when he was at the freethrow-line!

Q:

♦ Who'd win?

    Robinson.

You got Robinson's draft weight. He was near 260 in his prime.

David was actually a better defender, and was much bigger and as strong as Dwight.

I don't think Dwight would bother David much at all, but bigger guys who are as strong and athletic bother Howard.

David Robinson easliy ..........he dominants in every catagory .......Dwight howard is 25 right now averaging 21ppg , 12rpg, and 2.4 bpg.........Robinson at 25 was averaging 25ppg , 13 rpg, 3.9bpg almost 4......... Robinson was playing at a time when there were more abundant centers ( Ewing , Hakeem, Parisih etc )...........D12 main competition in the center department is well nobody......... that's why he should be dominanting more ........the better questions should be " who's better dwight howard or patrick ewing"........Ewing at 25 was averaging 20 ppg , 8 rpg , 3bpg

Robinson could take him out even now. We are not talking about a man who has let himself 'go' since retiring. On the contrary; this is a man who maintains what he has, now and always.

I do like Howard, too. His spoof on Derek Anderson is hilarious!

    Robinson.

All-time great Center in an era of great Centers. 71 points in a game, MVP, block machine, stat monster, quadruple double. Enough said.

Dwight's career is not yet ended

and he will retire as one of the greats of CENTER position ahead of the ADMIRAL

Robinson easily...I don't think a lot of people realize how great he actually was.
