trouble with my photo ink cartridge?
I have a lexmark all in one printer 3550. I have a photo ink cartridge that I want to use. On the 3550 model the black or photo cartridge goes on the left side and the color one goes on the right. I know that my color cartridge is very low but the photo cartridge is new. But it tells me that it can't print because my color cartridge is low. Does it need the color cartridge with the photo cartridge to print photos? Or should it still print since the photo cartridge is new?

You still do need a color cartridge to print. The photo cartridge only offers complimentary colors (Photo black, light cyan, light magenta). Your basic colors (cyan, magenta, Yellow) are all contained in your colour cartridge an are required for photo printing.
