Laptop screen resolutions questions?
I am looking at buying a Sony Vaio VPC-EB3Z1E/BQ http://www.notebookcheck.net/Sony-Vaio-VPC-EB3Z1E-...
My question is about the screen resolution they list two different models. 1000 Danish Kr different in price (about 180 USD). The only difference is the screen resolution.
Here is a comparison:
9000 Danish KR 8000 Danish Kr
Laptop Screen Resolution VAIO Display Plus 1920 x 1080 VAIO Display 1366 x 768 (16:9)
Is the first one worth an extra 1000 kr or not? I know the difference is not great but id like to know if its worth the extra money or not.

I would definitely pay the extra cost for the higher resolution (1920x1080) display. In addition to the much higher pixel count, high-res displays are often superior in other areas, too. The contrast ratio, maximum brightness and color representation may also be improved. Choosing the high-res upgrade 'usually' ensures that you get the best quality display (in my experience).

1920 x 1080 is HD resolution - you could play full resolution BluRay movies on that.
1366 x 768 is way too small. 768 vertical size is not going to let you see more than about one third of an A4 document at a time.
I could not tolerate a resolution so low. Many 3 year old laptops have 1280 x 800 - even that is better.
