The paint on my 2002 Honda Accord is wearing off in several spots?

How do I protect the rest of the paint job? I live in California so the sun beats down upon my car all day. First it got some white spots as the undercoat was exposed, and then there was a black coat underneath that. It's two spots on the roof.

The roof will have to be repainted. Use a high quality wax on the rest of the car to help provide more UV protection from the rays of the sun. Once the roof is repainted you will have to wait at least 90 days before waxing the fresh paint.

Just because the paint on your roof failed does not mean that your car has been repainted, factory paint jobs fail all the time.

all 2002 Honda accord are like that even my sons car and yhe rest of our neighbors car the paint are bad with white spots. Honda should have repainted all of the 2002 or have recalled their paint job on these cars.

The clearcoat has already been compromised and the rest of the cars top coat will be gone soon leaving it dull looking. Best bet is to have it resprayed and after a couple of months have it washed and waxed on a regular basis to help protect the life of the clearcoat

Parking the car under a car tent ,garage, car cover . Go to auto zone or car dealership to to get a paint kit to cover the spots

    Afraid its too late.

The vehicle has apparently been repainted and an improper base coat and/or clear coat was applied.

    Sorry.
