Tips on dealing with the pain?
Ok anyone out there got any tips on dealing with the constant pain that i have in my knees. Let me give you a bit of history. I have HORRIBLE knees. I am getting ready to have surgery number 10 on my knees on Monday (number 3 for the left and 7 for the right)
The left knee is much better than the right and will be feeling better as soon as things are cleaned up but it is the right knee that is the troublemaker.
I have constant pain in that knee all the time. I have had a major open knee surgery (not a replacement) and there are times that the front of my leg (where the scar is) hurts so bad that i am not even able to let a blanket touch it. Any tips on dealing with the pain and the depression that not being able to do most of the things that i love anymore would be great!
I am on pain meds for the pain but there are those days that the pain is so bad that the meds that they gave me just dont cut it.

I don't have knee pain, but I had terrible period pain (up to 3 periods a month, for 7 days each). I took Aleve. I had them in my car, gym bag, work, home, purse. Never left home without them. I'm sure I would never had managed without them. Try them. Just be sure to take a bit of something to eat when you take one.
