Is it legal to burn backups of my Xbox 360 games?
My MW2 disc got a bunch of scratches and died :( Kinda burned since I've spent $30 for map packs and $60 for the game itself plus tax. Not that I'm really gonna ever go back to MW2 but what about the games I still have? Can I create a backup disk to replay broken games. I'm not gonna share the backup obviously but I'm just wondering if backups are legal.

Why do no longer you have Oblivion yet!?, in case you do get bioshock, you could probable get the two one among those used. i admire Forza 2 additionally, yet i would not get it except you have been into real looking racing video games Ace wrestle 6 became exciting too, yet back, area of interest industry, and that i do no longer understand if anybody nonetheless performs on line. Any of the Tom Clancy video games are a good wager, or purchase a subscription to stay in case you haven't any longer have been given it

You can't back up a game when it's broken as you have nothing to back up from..
Anyways it is illegal as it says this on every disc "Don't make illegal copies of this disc." Just install your games that still work on the HDD so they last longer.

if no one finds out then your ok, but technically its stealing. If you do make a back up your xbox will not read the disk in less you modded your system with a different cd drive that can read burned copies

it is illegal to copy a CD to sell for profit, or to give to someone who has never purchased the game. But if you copy a CD for your own back-up purposes in case your original copy gets scratched or lost, it doesn’t matter.
