It's probably going to end up depending on the circumstances.

First and foremost, did you clock out before you left the property? Failing to do so is undoubtedly a violation of company policy, a legal "cause" to fire you. In which case, "no."

Did you call the supervisor when you had the accident? Did you not return because you were busy with police and hospitals for the duration of your shift, or were you just mad or shaken up and wanting to go home?

At any rate, the only way to find out is to file, and if the company denies your claim, appeal, tell your side, and let the arbitrator decide. Good luck.

Probably not. Getting fired first means no unemployment. However because of the accident there is a chance. Depends on the companies policy such as did you clock out, was the accident your fault, and other company policies. If you didn't clock out they could simply say you left company grounds while still on the clock even during your lunch and possibly get away on technicalities with firing you. Also the fact you didn't notify the company that day of the accident and waited to show till the next day, unless you were in a coma, unconsious, or in life saving surgery theres no excuse as far as they would be concerned.

It relies upon on what you have been fired for. If it have been for something expert & they might instruct it like undesirable attendance and being tardy, you will no longer get unemployment. Or eating, drugs. the rest, i could say write a letter and combat it. notably in case you have been working there for a mutually as. With the financial equipment the way it quite is, you are able to probable get it.
