  • Looking to Immigrate to western style country?

    Hey all.

I'm looking for suggestions for where my fiancee and myself possibly could immigrate to. I'm American (not your average type), retired pretty much. My fiancee is a Filipina studying to become a teacher (we plan to finish her studies first). I have a solid pension (younger though, disabled veteran) but no huge savings like $100k and she has her skilled skill-set. Wondering what decent western countries we would stand a chance to go to besides the US. I'm done with the US and its current political turmoil for the last couple decades, high costs, little reward system.

Basically thinking would get in from my fiancee's education as an elementary teacher but unsure what all countries need those.

  • Birth Control Pill question?

Asking for my lady. She recently switched from her old pill to a new one on her doctors recommendation. The new pill is causing her nasty issues and its only been 5 days she has taken it. She's wondering if its safe to switch back to the old one immediately since its only been 5 days or any issues with it? Her old pills and new ones are the same type and formulation (althea and Diane 35. Old ones don't make her nauseous and feel like vommiting.

    Thanks

  • Immigrate to western countries.?

I'm looking for suggestions on what western countries out their are safer bets to immigrate to. I'm an American looking for another developed western country. I have a lot of experience living abroad, working abroad, and traveling abroad (usually through Asia though). Looking for a western country a bit safer from negative effects if the US collapses so countries like Canada, Europe, Britain are out. Basically ones that are being over run by multi-culturalism and liberal globalist ideals.

So far have been thinking of Australia and New Zealand. Not sure what others to look into. Not filthy rich to afford huge investor visa's but my fiancee (non American) and myself are both skilled but my skills (tech) usually don't fall on the skilled immigrant lists while my fiancee's skill is teaching. However do have some money and an outside source of income if matters.

Please only positive feedback. Don't need sh*t about how its not going to happen or how stupid it sounds. I'm a war vet and patriot who's just sick of the current agenda in last 20 years.

  • Need a divorce and legal help needed.?

I'm married in the Philippines (US Citizen) to a Philippine Citizen. Married 1 1/2 years together and now seperated (non legally for 1 1/2 years). I'm in need of a divorce that doesn't require my wifes signature as she is unaccessible now (working overseas and no contact). Someting relatively cheap and quick but most importantly doesn't require much in terms of residency or her signature. I have no interest in being stuck in Guam for 90 days or anywhere else for 90 days.

So any suggestions for an easy divorce that wouldn't require my ex's signature or longterm residency? Thanks

  • How does this compare for illegal aliens?

    IF an:

    Illegal Alien = Undocumented Immigrant

    then:

    Rapist = Unconsentual Sexual Partner

After all aren't both just breaking the law and hurting others? At least with Rape you know what harm is being done to you (not that I support rape at all!).

Does this sound like a fair comparison to the issue of what to call Illegal Aliens?

  • Philippine Consumer Protection Laws?

What are the Consumer Protection Laws in the Philippines, rights that a consumer has on purchases made. Yes I know laws don't exactly get followed here but still there are laws. Looking to know if there is such as a 30 day money back law or such also?

My issue is I recently (3 1/2 weeks ago) bought a new motorcycle and already been back 3 times for problems with it they say don't exist but a friend with the exact same bike runs extremely well while mine has various issues. Now there is an "engine" warranty but they claim the rest isn't there issue as soon as they had my cash its to late and I can't get them to fix it. At this point I want to get a replacement motorcycle or my money back to buy another of the same bike from a different dealer. So what laws do I have on my side? Please, I don't need to hear on how consumer protection in the Philippines is crap, I already know that.

What I need to know is it possible with an older linksys wireless router to pick up one signal and resend it or pick up the internet wifi and then send it over my home network that the router would manage? Where I am buying an actual signal booster isn't an option as they are very expensive if can even find one in stock anyplace. Thanks

  • Is Obama really against the Black Community?

Consider this with also hearing Obama is for the black community.

Obama supports open borders and greater legal immigration and illegal immigration. However the jobs those legal and illegals go into are those that have been predominately held 75% of the time by the black community. The education bonus's for the black community are now used mostly by the immigrant community both legal and illegal. The welfare and medicaid system were designed to help someone up while today they are both failing because it now caters to the legal and illegal community.

What has Obama really done for the black community or even Americans in general? It seems to me his entire agenda is against the American people and especially against Black Americans.... all the while saying he's helping "minorities" which in truth is the hispanic community especially the large illegal branch of that community.... but he expects black Americans to be happy.

  • Reporting a US Birth Abroad?

I'm a natural born US citizen. My wife and I had a baby overseas and we need to know how to report a US Birth Abroad? What forms are needed? I found the requirements already (marriage contract, my birth cert / passport, childs birth certificate, affadavtits of the child's, parents US address). But don't see what form I need filled out or if there is anything else I need also filing fee if needed.

Also what would constitute an affadavit of parent's US Address? I just give them my address or some sort of proof? Does it have to be notorized or what? Thanks.

Unsure if matters but my wife and I are in the Philippines.

  • Future of Islam in the US and Western countries?

We have been seeing a slowly growing movement in western countries against Islam as more Muslims come to western countries and often try and change laws, change our own beliefs, and subvert things. We have seen "Santa Claus" banned in some schools and Christmas removed in some schools in support of Muslim immigrants. We have also seen "Christmas" as a whole being shored down while before it was an accepted religious and non religious US Holiday by all parties. People have been complaining more and legislation against such acts have started to be drawn up in some areas.

This makes me wonder the future of Islam in the US if Muslims can't quickly learn how to accept that western countries are not Muslim countries and while your religion is fine at home people don't want it interfering with their own traditions and beliefs.

I can't remember the opinion piece that came out a few months ago that drew some local attention but a journalist was mentioning on how they felt Islam fit more of the definition of a "Cult" then a "Religion" and more are starting to think that as Muslim extremists and Muslim reformists try and change western countries.

    Religion - 1.

a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe, esp. when considered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional and ritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.

    Cult- 1.

a religion or sect considered to be false, unorthodox, or extremist, with members often living outside of conventional society under the direction of a charismatic leader.

As stated it doesn't have to be "false" just that a cult *could* be considered.

Now with this sort of attitude growing against Islam I'm wondering the future of Islam in western countries and even in the world. Any opinions? Will it eventually reach a point where we all accept eachothers differences?
