Looking for recommendations for programs to learn how to speak Spanish?

I've always heard of Rosetta Stone for learning spanish, but what other recommendations do you have? Is Rosetta Stone really worth the money, or is there a cheaper option? What about the learning spanish while you drive CDs - can you actually learn that way?

I like Rocket Languages and have used their services twice. They break the studying up nicely with quizes, games as well as audio repeat and some limited written exercises to keep your attention. Not sure how they compare price wise to Rosetta.
