Why is the lender and escrow taking so long?

It's been a week and they both keep going back and forth with revisions. I was supposed to close yesterday, but they are taking their sweet time. Can I file a complaint? I can only contact the escrow and their excuse is always, "We are waiting for the lender to send back the documents." Only by mortgage broker and escrow can contact the lender's underwriter. It's really frustrating.

    98% of closings are delayed. You cannot sue

    tell your realtor their commission is on the line if closing is delayed. your realtor should be doing these battles for you.
