how can you play a umd disc of game with a cracked psp ?

I have a hacked psp with a custom firmware prometheus 5.50 and i can't both go to the psp store nor to play umd games. i think i need to uncrack my psp to an official firmware but i don't know how to do it. is it possible without a pandora battery ? thanks in advance.

This is what bugs me the most about the CFW hackers, they don't inform the people of the consequences of their actions but are more than willing to egg them on to be 'cool like them'.

The only thing I can come up with is grab an old UMD and use that game's option to "upgrade" your PSP to it's firmware....then you can ugrade the firmware to it's current version.

Well, you would need to uncrack the system to do so. Use a usb cable and your computer.
