Is DC to AC to DC possible?
Need 18V , 2A from a 12V car source. Can I use a 200W inverter to supply the AC to an AC adaptor (Input: 120VAC, 57W; Output: 18V, 2A) without harming the car, the AC adaptor or the equipment it supplies (electronics and motors for a telescope)? Not too worried about the inverter.

with no problems. cheers. ( Just keep an eye on battery level, I night stuck under the stars is still a night stuck in the dark. lol. )
