Is there a way to download text messages from an HTC desire to my laptop?

I have an HTC desire 'phone and someone has sent me a text message that I need to keep a permanent record of, so I want to download it to my laptop so that I can print it. Is there a way to do that?

    I use an app called smsbackup, it works great.

    There's a free app on the Market called SMSBackup. Install it and run it. It will save your text messages to an XML file with you can access in a variety of ways. The files are stored to your SD card, so you can just back them up to your laptop using the USB cable.
