She was picked on and laughed at when she would take out her guitar and play and sing. the end result she did a solo with her school friends, not country, and it was just amazing! I think you may be mistaking Hayden Panettiere for Lindsey Haun in the made-for-TV movie called BRAVE NEW GIRL (2004). The movie is based on the book A MOTHER'S GIFT by Britney Spears and her mother, Lynne. BRAVE NEW GIRL tells the story of a young Texan girl with aspirations for stardom. Holly (Haun) is talented, beautiful, and diligent, but she lacks the financial means to pursue her goals, until she wins a scholarship to a prestigious east coast music school.
