With Craig Anderson I could get...?
So im looking to trade Craig Anderson for a defensemen. Which defensemen would be about the same value as Anderson?
Or should i keep anderson? I feel like i need a defensemen because Pronger just went down, but i dont really want to dump Pronger.
BTW, this is for fantasy hockey.

not everyone knows this, but you can keep Pronger and add a defenseman without dropping anyone. If Pronger is listed as 'IR', drag him down to the bench and under the other bench players, an IR spot will appear. Put him there and an empty roster spot will appear. When Pronger is healthy, you will have to make room for him by dropping a player, so don't get too attached to his replacement. This is where I've had Parise (picked as the #2 spot in the first round, thank you) parked all season, it seems.
As far as dealing Anderson, look for a roster that's weak in goal tending. Anderson's not going to replace a top tier starter. His value is different for each manager. The guy in most need of a goalie will give you the best deal. If someone picked Brodeur in the early rounds of the draft, they might need a more solid option. While they're unlikely to part with a fantasy legend, you could float Anderson for a D man. You could even ask for Broduer at first, then "settle" for a D-Man. Play the game, brother.

Based on money, Anderson gets 1.8 M/year defence close to that is Mark Stewart 1.7M, Karl Alzner 1.7M, Brett Clark 1.5M, Anton Stralman 1.9M, Shane O'Brian 1.6M, Kurtis Foster 1.8M, Nicklas Grossman 1.6M, Oiver Larsson 1.7M and Kent Huskins 1.7M.
