Toxic Baking Pans? Which ones?

lately ive started to bake and i've heard that materials in baking pans and pots/pans are toxic. this is news to me so i want to know more.

how do i know if mine are toxic and what's a better alternative?

    Baking pans are not toxic. Aluminum may be best for baking.

    Mostly it's non-stick coatings on various kinds of cookware and even bakeware that you've heard about. The total story isn't really known yet about them, but science (not urban legends) do agree on a few points. Check out my previous answer about this topic for more details:

    They're talking about teflon pans. You can use stainless steel or aluminum.

    I use stainless steel. Cast iron is another option.
