What is going to be the closest/most competitive division in baseball this year?

I myself have to pick out of my division. I think it may be the NL central because everyone really has a chance except Pittsburgh. Sorry Pirates fans.

AL East simply because the Blue Jays usually finish 4th place, and they're contenders in a weaker division. The Yankees and Red Sox are powerhouses, and Tampa Bay still has pitching to stick around 3rd place.

There are going to be some incredibly close and tight divisions this year:

NL Central - Brewers are improved, Reds & Cardinals return same teams that won 90 games last year.

AL East - Rays have the pitching; Boston is improved; Yankees are the same club that wins 90+ games year in/year out, Blue Jays pitching could really surprise.

NL West - Good pitch (Giants/Padres) no hit clubs.

AL Central - Could be split in two: Top Tier of Minny, Chicago and Detroit battle for 90 wins, while KC and Cleveland try to avoid losing 105 games each.

NL west because you have 4 strong contenders, one of them being the best team in baseball.

Rockies, Padres, Giants, and Dodgers. Boy wouldn't it be fun to face those teams 60+ games a season.

I think the Twins, White Sox, and Tigers turn the AL Central into another 163 game season for the third time in 4 years.

NL West hands down. Do I need to remind you guys that the Giants just won the World Series? And that was with no run support, and they're up against the Rockies, and Padres.

And I think that the one Pirates fan left has come to terms with never seeing the playoffs.

NL Central will be the most comptetitive division with the Cards, Reds, and Brewers fighting it out. All 3 have a legit shot at the division or wild card.

Dont worry about offending Pirates fans. There is about 3 of them in the world.
