The Winter Solstice marks the 1st day of winter BUT the shortest day of the year! Right?
So this would only calculate as the days after to become longer, (Dec 22nd etc) thus meaning the cycle has been RESET!!!

Ok well let me ask you this... Why should we celebrate such a meaningless accomplishment in the year? We don't celebrate old stuff, just new stuff.
