why would there be swelling around my cats vulva?
I just noticed that my 5 year old cat has swelling around her vulva. She is peeing normal and does not seem to be in pain. She is eating well and is a bit over weight at this point. We are working on that.
She has been spayed. Also if you can't give a serious answer, don't answer. I am not kidding I am concerned and just wanted to get some idea what might be going on.

Cats can get vaginal infections. I would give the vet a call in the morning and see what they have to say.
It's good that she's spayed, because that rules out a life-threatening infection of the uterus, pyometra.
