Wall-eyed Lateral Thinkers?

In my life I have known, fairly well, three people with exotropic strabismus - that is, an outward squint.

Each of them struck me as a remarkable lateral thinker and I developed the theory that seeing two views of the world may contribute to an unusual brain development.

Any first-hand experience?

Any similar observations?

Any research known of to support or rubbish my notion?

Yes, some people i encountered seemed to be lateral thinkers.

Maybe there is indeed a co-relation,

but i don't have any data on it.

Your theory sounds plausible, i could imagine that the binocular vision causes the brain to develop differently from "ordinary people".
