Mini Pill or Depo Shot?

Which is better?

DO NOT SUGGEST OTHER OPTIONS, I'VE ALREADY TALKED TO MY DOCTOR AND THESE ARE MY ONLY OPTIONS. SHE ALSO SUGGESTED IUD BUT I DON'T WANT THAT.

Depo shot has more side effects than the mini pill. Both are very effective, but the mini pill has a slightly higher rate of mess ups because you CAN'T MISS A PILL! The shot you only have to worry about once every 3 months. It depends on how much you want to have to worry about it. If you can take a pill every day, I'd go with that. But if you're worried about missing, go with the shot.

I will admit though, i have tried about everything in the book, and my favorite so far has been the Mirena IUD (right after the NuvaRing). It lasts 5 years and made my periods stop and has no other side effects. I haven't had kids, and it doesn't mess with your fertility. I know you already said you don't want that, but I thought it'd throw it out there. I didn't like the shot because it made me bleed for months and months and months, and I didn't like the mini pill because I always forgot to take it!
