Install Ubuntu 10.10 Problems?
I have these two computers that I'm trying to install Ubuntu 10.10 onto. Every time I boot from the cd and click "Install Ubuntu," it freezes up! I tried a flash drive, but that doesn't work either! Help!!!!!!!

Do the cds pass the "Check Disc for Defects" checks? If not, download them again.
When the Ubuntu boot splash screen shows up, try turning off some system features by pressing F6 then selecting the option to turn off, like acpi=off, and pressing spacebar. Some of these features have questionable support or non-standard implementation.
