How to control the volume on the IPod Touch 4g?

When watching youtube videos I don't know how to control the volume? If you could tell me how to do it I would appreciate it.

    Use the volume buttons on the side or the slider bar at the bottom of the screen while watching a video.

    There's a line under the play button on the screen with a little circle thing on it, play around with that and see what happens. c: Or use the volume buttons.
