Why does the PS3 XMB music stops when I enter a certain part of the XMB?
I recently bought a PS3 and an issue I find extremely irritating is the fact that if I'm at the XMB and I have music playing in the background (from my HDD) when I go to change a setting, such as my Theme it stops. It also stops if I view a friends profile or go into the Playstation Store. Can I change this in the settings?
Isn't the point of XMB music eliminated if I can't listen to it while going through my settings or friends' profiles (the only useful place it works is while web-browsing)?
*Also, for any wanting to leave a comment that I should have bought an Xbox, I have one...it is currently a $1000+ paperweight sitting in my basement*

Yeah there is nothing you can do about it. Certain games support music during gameplay. I believe Sony does this to prevent any mods or something like that I believe.

looking on which version of the PS3s application you're employing (2.3 or above) you are able to play music saved on the PS3s HDD throughout the time of video games (not all video games help this and a few will avert you employing your guy or woman music) to apply it, initiate the sport, then open the bypass media bar menu by pressing the playstation button. Goto the music menu and decide the music you pick to play, press the Triangle button to open the thoughts menu and decide Play (Its at this element you will get carry of the blunders message "music content textile can't be performed throughout the time of use of this sport."). Then press the playstation button to return on your sport.
