To Christians (and other faithful)?

Some of you assert the idea that the pursuit of God exists beyond science. As an Atheist, I actually agree somewhat. But here's my problem and my question:

I don't know any other systems besides logic and the scientific process that actually produce reliable results, so what alternative system of analysis/proof do you suggest we use to find God?

Update:

Science has progressed because it produces reliable results: eventually, good ideas are moved forward and bad ones tossed aside. Progress, truth, that kind of lovely stuff.

    Reliable results?

The only infalible reliable result comes from love. Pure love is perfection.

Finding God is not about science, it's about faith. It's all about believing in something we can't see or measure. Even if we could prove God's existence in scientific terms, there are still some who wouldn't accept it.

All you have to do is look around you at nature, my friend. Clouds are full of water. Water is heavier than air. How do the clouds stay up there? Who tells birds to fly south before winter sets in? Who designed the complex system ants and bees have to survive? How do birds and wild animals get their food and survive through harsh winters? If the world began with the big bang theory as scientists suggest, where did those stars that collided or exploded come from in the first place? Conceivably, there was absolutely nothing in the beginning. It just makes more sense to believe that an intelligent being, God, created all this order.

Honestly, for me at least, it's all about faith. I know that the existence of God can't be 100% proved one way or the other, so I go with what I was taught growing up because I can't find a reason against it and it works for me and just seems to make sense to me. I have no proof or system of analysis. Call it blind faith if you will, I'd actually agree, but I'm okay with that because it works for me and it hurts no one.

read "Him" sometime dude. He IS The Living Word right in front of you! (John 1:1, John 14:6, Acts 4:10-12, Romans 10:9-17,) for starters.
