Has anyone here used the "Almena Method"?
The Almena Method is a program that claims it can teach you all 26 keys on the keyboard in an hour as well as teach you to touch type up to 80 wpm in just 2 weeks. I was wondering if anyone has used it and how good was it? Did it really teach you to touch type so quickly? Thanks!

Yes. It is a fad. It does nothing more than you can get from a 1950's typing book .... free at the library. Nothing has changed in 60 years. You space your fingers correctly and "reach" for each key. You type while looking at the screen; not at the keyboard. You can learn in 4 days from a book and it is free.

I have been teaching The Almena Typing Method for over twenty years. It really works. In less than one hour, students can touch type without looking down at the computer keyboard.
