(How) can I install the old XP version of Windows Movie Maker on my Windows 7 PC?

I loved the older version of Movie Maker that came standard with Windows XP and Windows Vista, and I absolutely HATE the Windows Live Movie Maker software that came with Windows 7 (Worst. Software. Ever.) Is there any way I can install one of the older versions on my new 7 PC?

Update:

Alternately, can anyone recommend an inexpensive video editing program that's very similar to the old Windows Movie Maker?

You can not, it will not run on 7, and if you force install it will probably suffer blue screen crashes.
