If I owe money for unpaid tickets will they take it from my taxes?

Hello I have two unpaid tickets that i found out about when i went to the DMV to renew my DL. Although I thought I was paying on them cause I had a court order and they were taking payments out of my check. I was wondering when i go do my taxes will the court order take whatever refund i will get and if so how would i know it goes to my tickets! thank for you taking the time

P.S I know there isnt any question marks my comp is asking crazy sorry!

    You would have to ask your state Department of Revenue. If you have a debt owed to your state, your state might seize your state income tax refund. Federal refunds would not be offset by local traffic tickets.

    If they take it out from your refund, you shuld consult an attorney. The tickets are being paid out of your check, this is sufficient unless there the matter of insufficient funds.

    if you are being garnished at work for them this should take care of it
