Why do people love Michael Vick and hate Tom Brady?

DISCLAIMER: I'm neither a Patriots or Eagles fan or hater. I'm neutral to both teams.

Both Vick and Brady a great QBs. But it seems like Vick is loved this year and people hate Brady. It doesn't really make sense to me. Vick tortured and killed dogs and Brady... didn't really do anything, to a dog or otherwise. But it seems like fans hate Brady and Vick is a "darling" this year.

I heard people try to say that Vick is likable because he "came back" and is "changing his ways".

Well, I mean, I didn't torture dogs in the first place. Where's my *bleeping* medal?

I find myself with the same annoyance. Vick is great and Brady is great. People just hate on Brady because he IS the best quarterback in the league bar none. Vick, Manning(s), Rodgers, and others may come close but Brady is really just a master at the QB position. People find it easy to hate on Brady because they think of him as a robot, but with Vick he's kinda of viewed as the comeback kid so people put their hope into that etc. It's so dumb. They're both great athletes and should be respected for that. Oh well.

    Well heres my perspective

Vick is being loved because he can play good and because this is his first season back as a starter and ppl just wana love him because hes doing good

Brady is hated because hes good mostly all great QBs suchs as Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Brett Favre(in his youth) are hated because there good

My persepective- I think that vick is a sob my self and i hate him with all my guts i really do, and i dont believe he should even be in the NFL but thats what i think.

Brady i hate him because hes one of the most arrogant people ive ever read about heres one thing i read about him "out of all my super bowl rings my favorite one is my next one" i hope he never wins a super bowl again just an arrogant person

uhhhhh.... who hates tom brady? I know there are lots of vick haters out there but everyone deserves a second chance. watch a patriots or colts game and you will see that most of the calls will go brady's/ manning's way. then watch a game with a young QB who hasn't really made a name for himself in the NFL yet (bradford, freeman, etc.) he is not going to get a call for a late hit, or a guy like vick who doesnt get the calls because he is so athletic and can make plays with his arms and his legs and the officials dont protect him as much as manning or brady because they see him as a RB playing QB. i think people are just happy to see that vick has had such an amazing comeback and i dont think anybody saw this coming since everybody was expecting kolb to step up and be a star, while brady puts up these kind of numbers year in and year out and the patriots are always winning 12+ games a year and although brady has great numbers none of us are really surprised by the way he has played.

i know. i hate how winning solves everything. most fans and media people are mindless and as long as a person wins, no one cares. its been about 2 years. i should have to earn it more. i do respect both of them, but vick was never that good of a qb. he was maybe average. i want and hope he will continue to do well though on and off the football field. i dont like brady too much and think hes overrated, but you have to admit that hes a great qb.

  • No one hates Tom Brady or Michael Vick, in fact the league loves them because they bring in the money. Michael Vick didn't kill any dog's, he owned a house in which his "friends" had an active dog fighting circle, which he did know about. So get that out of your head, because if you want to bring up athletes that have cause actual crimes to humans, look up Kobe Bryant, Mike Tyson, and Donte Stallworth. Plus Brady will win the MVP, and Vick will win Comeback Player of the Year

They are both great QBs. I think that people like Michael Vick more because he is more fun to watch. Yeah Tom Brady is fun to watch he throws alot of TD's, but you never know how Michael Vick is going to move the ball is he going to break one with his legs or is he going to throw one to Desean Jackson for a TD, and Tom Brady always does it the same way with well placed balls to his receivers. I like them both , and i also have neutral toward both teams.

I think I would like Tom Brady more if he got a haircut. He looks like a girl.

And i've always liked Vick. The Falcons instantly became my 2nd favorite team when they drafted him.

    Reasons people hate Tom Brady:

    1. They are jealous

    2. They are stupid

    3. They are jealous (seriously)

    4. He is married to a supermodel (jealousy again, see a trend?)

    5. They want him on their team, but can't have him.

    6. Did I mention jealousy?

I hate or love neither of them I dislike them cuz they don't play for my team. Plus one's a cheater and the other is a dog killer.

"Michael Vick didn't kill any dog's, he owned a house in which his "friends" had an active dog fighting circle, which he did know about."

    Ohh really?

"In legal papers filed last week, Vick admitted financing a dogfighting operation and participating in the killing of dogs that did not fight well."

He knew, he killed, he was fully and completely involved.

    What now?
