Do eBay and Paypal require that you have a paid email account? Or can you use a Yahoo, gmail Or hotmail email?
I am already registered with them but want to cancel my paid (peoplepc) email account. Can I do that and give them my Yahoo address and keep my eBay & Paypal accounts?

I have been on Ebay for 11 years, all while using my Yahoo account. Go into your settings & preferences in your ebay and paypal accounts and update your information to your new email account. It will ask for your password to confirm this change.

You can use a web-based email account. I use yahoo. They advise using an email address with a name that is different from your Ebay user name. Make sure you change your Paypal email address also. You have to be a merchant to take credit card payments as well as Paypal payments.

They shouldnt have any issues with the type of email address you have, afterall it doesnt really concern them. I have mine assosiated with Hotmail and work (MS Exchange) emails. What you suggested should work fine :)
