I managed charter fleets, sailed everything from zuma's to SORC boats. C&C's, Tartans, Sabre's, Pearsons, lightenings, scows, Hunters, Cal's, O'day's, Whitby's, J-boats, Nacra's, Hobies, Columbia's, Morgans, and dozens on one design racing rigs. I even sailed a Burger. Look that one up... Add in I have sailed DN's, Knights, even an old A-boat. (This should prove something about you.) I have stepped hundreds of masts, installed countless equipment, taught hundreds of people to sail, I have sanded boat bottoms, faired keels, put on VC bottoms. The Tiara is a gunsmoke grey, no tower, pure cruiser. It suffers from twin Mercruiser I/O's. Kind of rare for a Tiara, as they usually are associated with inboards, but the sport model had them. Nice boat, I hardly ever use it since the kids came along. It will most likely become a casualty of my maturation. I bet the green looked awesome....

I would prefer a sailboat, but sailboats are for people with time. I travel extensively. In addition, my wife turns colors not found in nature on sailboats. Maybe someday I can pick up something in the 35ft range to race and cruise with my son. But he has a few years to go before I can think about that.

Either you're messing with us, or you really don't know. I grew up in the country, and most of the people we knew in the area had one thing in common. None of us were what you'd call rich, nor did we pretend to be rich. We weren't what you'd call materialists either, we owned those things that were useful, and little else. We didn't vote for Republicans because of the things that the promised to do for us, we voted for them because they tended to leave us alone and live our lives as we saw fit.
