xbox headset will not work?
bought a headset for my xbox 360 to play with madden 11 and it does not work. i cant hear the coach on the game and can not hear anybody on the online play. is there something special i need to do to get it to work?

Check the volume level, make sure its not all the way down.
What kind of headset?
Some headsets give you chat only, others include game volume.
If it doesn't work.
Exchange it.
Happens so often that they don't even ask.

Is it wired or wireless? If it is wireless, the power may have run out.
If not, is it an official headset from Microsoft? Others may become faulty quickly, and if this is the case, you should take them back to the store where you bought them to get an exchange or a refund

xbox headsets break easily. try getting a Turtle Beach.
